إبراهبم بن قَيْس (٠٠٠ - نحو ٤٧٥ هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ١٠٨٢ م) إبراهيم بن قيس بن سليمان، أبو إسحاق الهمدانيّ الحضرميّ: من أئمة الاباضبة. ولد في حضرموت، واستعان بالخليل بن شاذان (الإمام الإباضي بعمان) فأعانه بجند ومال، فاستولى على حضرموت باسم الخليل. وأقامه الخليل عاملا عليها، وأقره الإمام راشد بن سعيد، ثم قلد أمر الإمامة بعد ذلك. وكان شجاعا جلدا على احتمال المشاق، له غزوات إلى الهند. أظهر دعوته في حياة أبيه، بعيد سنة ٤٥٠ هـ. وكان شاعرا، له مصنفات منها (مختصر الخصال - ط) و (السيفالنقاد - ط) ديوان شعره (١) .
