    مفتاح الحبشي مفتاح بن عبد الله الحبشي، ثم الهندي نزيل دمشق، الشيخ العلامة، الفاضل، المعتقد ذكره الشيخ الوالد في تلاميذه، وأثنى عليه، وقال: حضر مجلسي كثيراً، وقرأ علي في المنهاج انتهى. وكان من أخص الناس بالشيخ الوالد، وبالشيخ شهاب الدين الأخ، وكان يقول: حط الفقه رواقة في بيت الشيخ رضي الدين الغزي، وحط علم القراءات ركابه في بيت الطيبي. توفي نهار الأربعاء ثالث عشر شعبان سنة ثلاث وثمانين وتسعمائة، ودفن بباب الفراديس بالقرب من الشيخ شهاب الدين الطيبي رحمه الله تعالى.
