    علي الجيزي علي ابن الشيخ العلامة زين العابدين الجيزي المالكي. اشتغل على الشيخ ناصر الدين اللقاني حتى تبحر في علوم الشريعة. أجازه بالإفتاء والتدريس، وكان يرد شيخه إليه الأسئلة المشكلة، وكان مقتنعاً بالدون من الطعام، واللباس، حسن الأخلاق. ذكره الشعراوي، ولم يؤرخ وفاته رحمه الله تعالى.
