محمد بن محمد الصالحي محمد بن محمد بن أبي الفضل الصالحي، نجم الدين الشافعي كان تاجراً بسوق الدهشة، ثم تكسب بالشهادة بمحلة الصالحية، وصار رئيسها، ثم نقل إلى الكبرى، وصار رئيسها، وناب في القضاء في محكمة الميدان، ثم بالكبرى، ثم تركه وعاد إلى الشهادة، واستمر إلى أن توفي وكان قصير القامة كبير العمامة، وأخذ في فتنة القابجي وامتحن مع من امتحن به، وضعف بصره، وقلت حركته، وانقطع بمنزله نحو تسعة أشهر، ومات ودفن بالصالحية، وعملت صباحيته بمسجد هشام رحمه الله تعالى.
