    عبد الكريم بن مفلح عبد الكريم بن إبراهيم الفاضل، كريم الدين ابن القاضي برهان الدين بن مفلح الحنبلي، كان كاتباً في المحكمة الكبرى بادهينانية بدمشق، مات فجأة بعد أن بيض أربعة أوراق مساطير، ثم خرج فبينما هو في الطريق سقط لوجهه وحمل إلى منزله فلما وضع مات في يوم الأحد ثالث عشر ذي القعدة سنة خمس وستين وتسعمائة، وصلي عليه غائبة في يوم الاثنين في الجامع الأموي، وحمل إلى مقبرة باب الصغير ودفن بالقلندرية وكانت له جنازة حافلة، وصبر والده واحتسب رحمه الله تعالى.
