    محمد بن عبد القادر بن الشحام محمد بن عبد القادر بن أبي بكر، الشيخ شمس الدين بن الشحام العمري الحلبي، أحد الرؤساء بجامع حلب، سمع الحديث المسلسل بالأولية على المحدث عبد العزيز بن عمر بن محدد بن فهد المكي، وكان ديناً خيراً فقيهاً موقتاً، وكان إماماً بالتغري، ورمشيه بحلب قال ابن الحنبلي: وفيها قرأت عليه في الميقات سافر إلى دمشق، فمرض بها فنقل إلى بيمارستانها. فقال له كاتب البيمارستان: ماذا أكتب لك. ما هو ملك لك. فقال: أكتب إني فقير من فقراء المسلمين لا عليه ولا له، وكانت وفاته بها في سنة أربع وأربعين وتسعمائة رحمه الله تعالى.
