    ٤١ - ابْنُ الصَّبَّاغِ أَبُو الحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بنُ حُمَيْدٍ الصَّعِيْدِيُّ * الشَّيْخُ، القُدْوَةُ، الزَّاهِدُ الكَبِيْرُ، أَبُو الحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بنُ حُمَيْد ابْن الصَّبَّاغِ الصَّعِيْدِيُّ. انتَفَعَ بِهِ خَلقٌ، وَكَانَ حَسَنَ التَّربِيَةِ لِلمُرِيْدِين، يَتفقَّدُ مَصَالِحهم الدِّينِيَّةَ، وَلَهُ أَحْوَالٌ وَمَقَامَاتٌ وَتَأَلُّهٌ. قَالَ الحَافِظُ زَكِيُّ الدِّيْنِ المُنْذِرِيُّ: اجْتَمَعْتُ بِهِ بِقَنَا (١) ، وَتُوُفِّيَ بِهَا، وَهِيَ مِنْ صَعِيدِ مِصْرَ، فِي نِصْفِ شَعْبَانَ، سَنَةَ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ وَسِتِّ مائَةٍ ﵀.
