    ٢٥٨ - الجَوْهَرِيُّ أَبُو الفَضْلِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بنُ الحُسَيْنِ * وَاعِظُ العَصْرِ، العَلاَّمَةُ، أَبُو الفَضْلِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بنُ الحُسَيْنِ المِصْرِيُّ، ابْن الجَوْهَرِيِّ. حَدَّثَ عَنْ: أَبِي سَعْدٍ المَالِيْنِيّ. رَوَى عَنْهُ: الحُمَيْدِيّ، وَجَمَاعَة. وَكَانَ أَبُوْهُ مِنَ العُلَمَاءِ العَامِلين. مَاتَ: فِي شَوَّال سَنَة ثَمَانِيْنَ وَأَرْبَعِ مائَة. وَمِمَّنْ رَوَى عَنْهُ: عَلِيُّ بنُ مُشرفٍ الأَنْمَاطِيّ.
