١٧١ - ابْنُ بَابَكَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بنُ مَنْصُوْرٍ البَغْدَادِيُّ * شَاعِرُ وَقْته، أَبُو القَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بنُ مَنْصُوْرِ بنِ بَابَكَ البَغْدَادِيُّ. وَ (دِيْوَانُهُ) كَبِيْرٌ فِي مُجَلَّدين. طَوَّفَ النَّوَاحِي، وَمَدَحَ الكِبَارَ، وَلَمَّا سَأَلَهُ الصَّاحِبُ إِسْمَاعِيْلُ بنُ عَبَّاد وَقَدْ وَفَدَ عَلَيْهِ: أَأَنْتَ ابْنُ بَابَك (٤) ؟ قَالَ: بَلْ أَنَا ابْنُ بَابِك، فَأَعْجَبَهُ ذَلِكَ (٥) . تُوُفِّيَ: سَنَةَ عشرٍ وَأَرْبَع مائَة (٦) .
