    ٢٢٧ - ابْنُ التَّبَّانِ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بنُ إِسْحَاقَ المَغْرِبِيُّ * عَالِمُ القَيْرَوَانِ، وَشيخُ المَالِكِيَّةِ، أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بنُ إِسْحَاقَ المَغْرِبِيُّ، ابْنُ التَّبَّانِ.قَالَ القَاضِي عِيَاضٌ: ضُربَتْ إِلَيْهِ أَباطُ الإِبِلِ مِنَ الأَمصَارِ لِذَبِّهِ عَنْ مَذْهَبِ أَهْلِ المَدِيْنَةِ. وَكَانَ حَافِظاً بعيداً مِنَ التَّصَنُّعِ وَالرِّيَاءِ، فصحياً، كَبِيْرَ القَدْرِ. تُوُفِّيَ: سَنَةَ إِحْدَى وَسَبْعِيْنَ وَثَلاَثِ مائَةٍ.
