    ١٩٧ - المَقْدِسِيُّ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بنُ مُحَمَّدِ بنِ سَلْمٍ * الإِمَامُ، المُحَدِّثُ العَابِدُ، الثِّقَةُ، أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ، عَبْدُ اللهِ بنُ مُحَمَّدِ بنِ سَلْم بن حَبِيْب الفِرْيَابِيُّ الأَصل المَقْدِسِيّ. سَمِعَ: مُحَمَّدَ بنَ رمح، وَحَرْمَلَة بن يَحْيَى، وَجَمَاعَة بِمِصْرَ، وَهِشَام بن عَمَّارٍ، وَعَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ بن إِبْرَاهِيْمَ دُحَيْماً، وَعَبْدَ اللهِ بنَ ذَكْوَانَ بِدِمَشْقَ. حَدَّثَ عَنْهُ: أَبُو حَاتِمٍ بنُ حِبَّانَ وَوَثَّقَهُ، وَالحَسَنُ بنُ رَشيق، وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ بنُ عَدِيٍّ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ بنُ المُقْرِئِ، وَآخَرُوْنَ. وصفَهُ ابْن المُقْرِئ بِالصَّلاَحِ وَالدِّين. مَاتَ: سَنَةَ نيِّف عَشْرَة وَثَلاَثِ مائَةٍ.
