    ٣٢ - سَلْمٌ الخَاسِرُ بنُ عَمْرِو بنِ حَمَّادٍ ** هُوَ مِنْ فُحُولِ الشُّعَرَاءِ، مِنْ تَلاَمذَةِ بَشَّارِ بنِ بُرْدٍ. هُوَ: سَلْمُ بنُ عَمْرِو بنِ حَمَّادٍ.مَدَحَ المَهْدِيَّ، وَالرَّشِيْدَ، وَعَكَفَ عَلَى المَخَازِي، ثُمَّ نَسَكَ، ثُمَّ مَرَقَ، وَبَاعَ مُصْحَفَهُ، وَاشْتَرَى بِثَمَنِهِ دِيْوَاناً، فَلُقِّبَ: بِالخَاسِرِ. وَقَدْ أَجَازَهُ الرَّشِيْد مَرَّةً بِمائَةِ أَلْفٍ. لاَ أَعْلَمُ فِي أَيِّ سَنَةٍ مَاتَ، لَكِنَّهُ مَاتَ قَبْلَ الرَّشِيْدِ.
