    أحمد بن أبي المعالي بن أحمد البكراني: أبو الفضل، شيخ كتب عنه الحافظ أبو المواهب الحسن بن هبة الله بن صصرى الدمشقي، وخرج عنه انشادا في معجم شيوخه. أنبأنا أبو القاسم الحسين بن هبة الله بن صصرى التغلبي قال: أنشدنا أخي أبو المواهب الحسن، قال أحمد بن أبي المعالي بن أحمد بن أبي المعالي بن أحمد البكراني: أنشدنا الأجل أبو الفضل الفقيه بحلب في ظاهرها حين عزمت على العود الى دمشق، حالة (١٦١ - و) التوديع لبعضهم: إذا ما وصلتم سالمين فبلغوا … تحية من قد ظن أن لا يرى نجدا وإن سألوكم كيف حالي بعدهم … فقولوا لهم: والله ما نقض العهدا هم جعلوا ديني لهم نسية … ودينهم عندي أعجله نقدا
