أحمد بن عبد الملك بن صالح بن علي بن عبد الله بن عباس: أبو العباس بن أبي عبد الرحمن الهاشمي، كان بمنبج مع أبيه، وله ذكر في بني صالح. قرأت في كتاب نسب بني صالح بن علي بخط القاضي أبي طاهر الحلبي الهاشمي قال: وكان أحمد بن عبد الملك عالما بالطب والفلسفة، قد قرأ الكتبوطلبها، ولقي أهل المعرفة بهذا الفن وأخذ عنهم فكان يعد العلاجات والأدوية والأشربة التي لا توجد عنه أحد إلاّ عنده ويعطيها في السبيل.
