    ذكر حصن أولاس ويقال له حصن الزهاد، وهو على ساحل البحر، ومنه أبو الحارث فيض بن الخضر بن أحمد التميمي الأولاسي، أحد الأولياء المشهورين، وسنذكر ترجمته في بابها إن شاء الله تعالى. وقال أبو زيد أحمد بن سهل البلخي في كتاب صورة الأرض والمدن وما تشتمل عليه: وأولاس حصن على ساحل البحر، بها قوم متعبدون، وهو آخر ما على بحر الروم من العمارة للمسلمين. ***
