    ٨٥٩ - أبو الحسن الجيشىّ النّحوىّ «١» نحوىّ مشهور، مقيم ببغداد، متصدّر لهذا الشأن، أدرك الصدر الأول كأبى علىّ الفارسى وعلىّ بن عيسى بن علىّ الرّمانىّ وابن جنّى والأرزنى [٢] والربعى [٣]. والعبدىّ [٤]، ولم يزل مقصودا للإفادة، إلى أن توفّى ببغداد في يوم السبت السادس عشر من ذى الحجّة، سنة ثمان وثمانين وأربعمائة عن إحدى وتسعين سنة.
