٧٥٧ - مضارب بن إبراهيم النيسابورىّ أبو الفضل «١» ذكره الحافظ أبو عبد الله فى تاريخ نيسابور وقال: «الأديب؛ وكان أوحد عصره بنيسابور فى الأدب والنحو، ومن أخصّ الناس بطاهر بن عبد الله بن طاهر الأمير. والسبب فى قربه منه مدح الحسين بن الفضل إياه فى مجلسه. سمع إسحاق ابن إبراهيم الحنظلىّ، ومحمد بن رافع، وداود بن سليمان بن معبد؛ روى عنه أحمد ابن إسحاق الصّيدلانىّ، وأبو عمرو بن مطر، وابنه أبو إسحاق». «سألت أبا القاسم إسماعيل بن مضارب بن إبراهيم عن وفاة أبيه فقال: مات يوم الأربعاء، ودفن عشية الخميس الثالث من ذى الحجة سنة سبع وسبعين ومائتين».
