٧١٢ - محمد بن مسعود بن محمد المالينىّ الهروىّ أبو يعلى الأديب «٢» ومالين [٢] من رستاق هراة. له معرفة بالنحو واللغة، ويقول الشّعر الجيّد بالفارسيّة والعربيّة، ويذهب إلى مذهب الكرّامية [٣]، وحجّ فى سنة ثمان وستّمائة،فحجّ وعاد إلى بلده. وقيل عنه: إنه لم يكن محمود الطريقة، وإنه كان يتسامح فى الأمور الدينيّة. ومن شعره: أصون المحيّا لا أرقرق ماءه ... إذا ابتذلت عند الطماعة أوجه أأنزل بالأدنى ومن تحت أخمصى ... من الفلك الأعلى تطامن أوجه! وسئل عن مولده فلم يذكره [١].
