٧٠١ - محمد أبو عبد الله بن العباس بن أبى محمد يحيى ابن المبارك اليزيدىّ «٢» فاضل كامل، حسن المذاكرة، غزير الأدب، من بيت فضل وعلم وذكر وتقدّم فى الدّول، وتصدّر وصنف وأفاد، وأخذ عنه المستفيدون والرواة، ودعى فى آخر عمره إلى تعليم ولد المقتدر [٢] بالله فلزمهم مدّة. ولقيه بعض أصحابه الآخذين عنه، المتلمذين له، بعد اتصاله بالسلطان، فسأله أن يقرئه بعض ما كان يرويه، فقال له: «تجاوزت الأحصّ وشبيثا [٣]»؛ أى أنا مشتغل عن ذلك.والذى صنّفه من الكتب: كتاب مختصر نحو. كتاب الخيل. كتاب أخبار اليزيديّين. كتاب مناقب بنى العباس [١]. وتوفّى ﵀ فى سنة عشر وثلاثمائة.
