٦٣٣ - محمد بن الحسين بن عبيد الله بن عمر بن حمدون أبو يعلى المعروف بابن السرّاج المقرىء النحوىّ «١» أحد الحفاظ لحروف القرآن ومذاهب القرّاء وعلم النحو؛ يشار إليه فى ذلك، وله مصنّف فى القراءات. ولد فى أحد الربيعين من سنة ثلاث وسبعين وثلاثمائة يوم الأحد بعد العصر. ذكر أنه وجد بخط والده ذلك. ومات ﵀ ليلة الجمعة الثامن والعشرين منذى الحجة سنة سبع وعشرين وأربعمائة، ودفن صبيحة تلك الليلة فى مقبرة باب حرب، وكان منزله بباب الشام.
