٦٠٨ - محمد بن ثابت بن يوسف بن عيسى أبو بكر النحوىّ الواسطىّ «١» من أهل واسط،. قدم بغداذ وأقام بها مدّة يقرأ على مصدّق بن شبيب النحوىّ [١]. وطلب الأدب، وسمع الحديث من أبى العباس أحمد بن على ابن المامون [٢]، وسمع من مشايخ واسط، وعاد إلى واسط يقرأ عليه بها القرآن والنحو. وهو فقيه فاضل، له معرفة حسنة بالنحو، تخرّج به جماعة بواسط، وأخذوا عنه.
