٥٤٦ - الفقعسىّ، واسمه محمد بن عبد الملك الأسدىّ «٣» ونسبته أشهر من اسمه. راوية بنى أسد وصاحب مآثرها؛ وكان شاعرا. أدرك المنصور ومن بعده، وعنه أخذ العلماء مآثر بنى أسد، ومن شعره يمدح الفضل بن الربيع: الناس مختلفون فى أحوالهم ... وابن الربيع على طريق واحد وصنّف؛ فمن تصنيفه: كتاب بنى أسد وأشعارها.
