٥٢٧ - عطاء بن أبى الأسود الدؤلىّ النحوىّ [٢] عالم بالنحو والعربية، وهو الذى اتفق بعد موت أبيه هو ويحيى بن يعمر على بسط النحو وتعيين أبوابه، وبعج مقاييسه. ولما تولى أبوه البصرة من قبل علىّوابن عباس كان على شرط أبيه عطاء، ولم يعقب. ولما استوفى هو ويحيى بن يعمر جزءا متوفرا من أبواب النحو نسب بعض الرواة إليهما أنهما أول من وضع هذا النوع.
