٤٩٦ - على بن المبارك بن عبد الباقى بن بانويه أبو الحسن النحوىّ [١] يعرف بابن الزاهدة «١». من ساكنى الظّفرية «٢». قرأ النحو على الشريف أبى السعادات بن الشجرىّ العلوى، [و] «٣» أبى جعفر «٤» المعروف بالتّكريتى، ثم على أبى محمد بن الخشّاب. وصارت له به معرفة جيدة، وأقرأ الناس مدّة، وتخرج به فيه جماعة؛ منهم أبو البركات محمد بن محمد الشهرستانىّ ثم البغداذىّ وغيره. وكان قد انقطع قبل وفاته بمنزله، وسمع الناس منه فى حال انقطاعه. وتوفّى يوم الثلاثاء ثالث ذى الحجة من سنة أربع وتسعين وخمسمائة ودفن عند والدته برباط لهم بدرب البقر بالظّفرية.
