٤٨٨ - على بن محمد بن إسماعيل بن محمد بن بشر أبو الحسن الأنطاكىّ المقرئ النحوىّ الفقيه [٢] قرأ القرآن بأنطاكيّة «٤» على أبى إسحاق إبراهيم بن عبد الرزاق المقرئ «٥»، ورحل إلى الأندلس، فأدخل إليها علما كثيرا من القراءات والرواية لحديث كثير عن الشاميين والبصريين. وكان بصيرا بالعربية والحساب، وله حظ من الفقه على مذهب الشافعىّ، قرأ الناس عليه بالأندلس، وكتبوا عنه، وسمعوا منه.وكان مولده بأنطاكيّة فى سنة تسع وسبعين ومائتين. وتوفى بقرطبة يوم الجمعة يوم تسعة وعشرين من ربيع الأوّل سنة سبع وسبعين وثلاثمائة، ودفن فى مقبرة الرّبض «١».
