٤٨٢ - علىّ بن محمد السّمسمانىّ الأديب البغداذىّ [١] كان فاضلا عالما متوفرا على إفادة علم الأدب، متصدرا ببغداذ. كتب بخطه الكثير، وكان فى غاية الضبط والإتقان. وله شهرة عند أهل هذا الشأن. مات ببغداذ فيما ذكره هلال بن المحسّن فى يوم الأربعاء الخامس من المحرم سنة خمس عشرة وأربعمائة.
