٤٠٠ - عبد القاهر بن طاهر بن محمد البغداذىّ أبو منصور [١] الأستاذ الكامل ذو الفنون، الفقيه الأصولىّ الأديب الشاعر النحوىّ، الماهر فى علم الحساب، العارف بالعروض. ورد نيسابور مع أبيه أبى عبد الله طاهر «٢» بن محمد البغداذىّ التاجر. وكان ذا مال وثروة. أنفق عبد القاهر ماله على أهل العلم، ولم يكتسب بماله علما.درس تسعة عشر نوعا من العلوم «١»، واستفاد منه الناس. خرج عن نيسابور فى أيام التّركمانية إلى أسفرايين «٢»، فمات بها سنة تسع وعشرين وأربعمائة، ودفن عند الأستاذ أبى إسحاق «٣» بها.
