    ٣٧٤ - عبد الدائم بن مرزوق بن جبير اللغوىّ [١] الأندلسى المنزل، القيروانىّ الأصل. يكنى أبا القاسم. نزل المريّة، وكان قد روى كثيرا من كتب الأدب واللغة. وكان قد رحل إلى المشرق، ودخل العراق، وأخذ عن علمائها فى سنة ست وعشرين وأربعمائة، ولقى أبا العلاء المعرّىّ وأخذ عنه شيئا من الأدب، وروى عنه شيئا من شعره سقط الزّند فى سنة ثلاث وعشرين وأربعمائة. وكان حيا «٢» فى سنة سبع وستين وأربعمائة؛ فإنه كتب شيئا بخطه فى هذا التاريخ.
