٣٣٠ - عبد الله بن عبد الله الأندلسىّ المعروف بالبرقى [١] كان عالما بالنحو واللغة، إماما فيهما، [عالما] بالعدد والهندسة. وله كتاب مشهور فى المسبّع. وكان رجلا ناسكا، ينسب إليه علم صناعة الكيمياء. وكان الحكم المستنصر «٣» يعظّمه ويوقره ويروم الإسكار معه، فيقبضه ورعه، ويكفّه عن مداخلته زهده- ﵀ ورضى عنه وأرضاه.
