٢٨٩ - سالم بن أبى الصقر أحمد بن سالم العروضىّ الملقب بالمنتجب [١] من ساكنى درب القرنفليّين ببغداذ. كانت له معرفة جيدة بالأدب والعروض وصناعة الشعر. قرأ على الشيخ أبى البقاء النحوىّ، وعلى الشيخ أبى الخير مصدّق بن شبيب، وعلى أبى البركات عبد الرحمن بن الأنبارى الشيخ الصالح النحوىّ، وصحب الوجيه النحوىّ، وسافر إلى بلاد العجم، وعاد إلى بغداذ، وتوفى بها فى اليوم الخامس من ذى القعدة، يوم الأحد سنة إحدى عشرة وستمائة، ودفن بمشهد موسى بن جعفر.
