١٦٢ - ثابت بن أبى ثابت أبو محمد اللغوىّ [١] من أصحاب أبى عبيد القاسم بن سلّام، وثابت أثبت أصحابه فيما أخذه عنه. وله كتاب فى خلق الإنسان؛ أجاد فيه حقّ الإجادة، وأحسن فيه ما شاء، وأربى على من تقدّمه. وأحسن حالات المتأخرين الأخذ منه. واسم أبيه أبى ثابت سعيد، وقيل محمد «١». لقى ثابت فصحاء الأعراب، وأخذ النحو من كبار النحويين. وله من التصانيف: كتاب خلق الإنسان. كتاب الفرق «٢». كتاب الزّجر «٣». كتاب خلق الفرس. كتاب العروض. كتاب الوحوش. كتاب مختصر العربية.
