٥٣ - أحمد بن محمد بن سليمان الحافظ الحنفىّ اللغوىّ أبو الطيب الصّعلوكىّ [١] عمّ الأستاذ أبى سهل «١»، من أهل نيسابور. ذكره الحافظ أبو عبد الله «٢» فى تاريخ نيسابور، وقال: «كان مقدّما فى معرفة اللغة ودرس الفقه، وأدرك الأسانيد العالية، وصنّف فى الحديث، وأمسك عن الرواية والتحديث بعد أن عمّر، وكنا نراه بأخرة «٣»، وتوفّى لسبع بقين من رجب سنة سبع وثلاثين وثلاثمائة، وصلّى عليه أبو الحسن المبارك، ودفن فى مقبرة باعك. شهدت الصلاة عليه».
