ذكر من اسمه «قتادة» : ١٠٨١- قتادة بن قيس بن حبشىّ الصّدفىّ: له صحبة «١» ، ولا يعرف له رواية. شهد فتح مصر، وله ذكر وخطّة بمصر «٢» . ومحرس قتادة بالصّدف يعرف به «٣» ، وجنان قتادة التى قبلىّ بركة المعافر، تعرف ب «جنان الحبش» ، وبه تعرف- أيضا- بركة الحبش «٤» ، كأنها نسبت إليه، فقيل لها: بركة ابن حبشىّ، ثم خفّف «٥» . *
