    النُّعْمي (٠٠٠ - ١١٨٧ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٧٧٣ م) حسين بن مهدي النعميّ التهامي ثم الصنعاني: فاضل، من أهل (صَبيْا) في تهامة اليمن. تعلم وأقام في صنعاء. يقرئ كتب السنة، في مسجد القبة، إلى أن توفي. له (معارج الألباب في مناهج الحق والصواب - ط) وآل النعميّ في صبيا، حسنيون، نسبتهم إلى جد لهم اسمه (نعمة) (١) .

    النُّعْمي (٠٠٠ - ١٣٥١ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٩٣٢ م) محمد بن حيدر النعمي التهامي الحسني: مؤرخ، من قضاة الزيدية باليمن. ولي القضاء بالحديدة في عهد محمد بن علي الإِدْرِيسي، ثم ولاه الإمام يحيى حميد الدين قضاء اللحيّة. ونشبت فتنة في (جازان) وما جاورها، فاتهم بالاشتراك فيها، فقتل في مدينة صبيا. له (الجواهر اللطاف في أشراف صبيا والمخلاف - خ) في المكتبة العقيلية بجيزان ترجم به لأشراف المخلاف السليماني (٢) .
