[ذيل ديوان الضعفاء (ص ٣٧)]. • شعيب بن أيوب الصريفيني. وثقه الدارقطني وغيره. وقال أبو داود: إني لأخاف الله في الراوية عنه. [المغني في الضعفاء (د (١/ ٤٦٩)]. • شعيب بن أيوب الصريفيني المقرئ. [د]. صاحب يحيى بن آدم. وثقه الدارقطني. وقال أبو داود: إنى لاخاف الله تعالى في الرواية عنه. قلت: ما أخرج عنه في سننه غير حديث. وله حديث منكر. ذكره الخطيب في تاريخه، علقته عندي مات سنة إحدى وستين ومائتين.
