    ١٨٩٠ - بريد بن معاوية بن أبي حكيم • بريد بن معاوية بن أبي حكيم، واسمه حاتم العجلي يكنى أبا القاسم. قال ابن النجاشي: وجه من وجوه الشيعة، وفقيه، له محل عند الأئمة. روى عنه علي بن عقبة بن خالد الأسدي، وجميل بن صالح، وعلي بن رئاب، وَغيرهم. وروى هو عن إسماعيل بن رجاء، وَأبي جعفر الباقر، وجعفر الصادق. وذكر ابن عقدة، عَن عَلِيّ بن الحسن بن فضالة أنه مات سنة خمسين ومائة. وذكر سعد بن عبد الله القمي بسند له الى جعفر الصادق أنه قال: أوتاد الأرض أربعة فذكره منهم وزرارة بن أعين ويقال: إنه كان يقول: بالاستطاعة كما يقول زرارة.
