[ق]، أخو الامام عبد الله القعنبى، نزيل مصر. حدث عن مالك والكبار. ما علمت به بأسا الا أنه ليس في الثقة كأخيه. وقال مالك بن سيف: حدثنا إسماعيل بن مسلمة، حدثنا مالك، فذكر حديثا في طعام الوليمة فرفعه فوهم، وإنما هو في الموطأ من قول أبى هريرة.
