    ١١١٧ - أحمد بن يعقوب الموصلي • أحمد بن يعقوب الموصلي. وجدت عنه حديثاً واهياً لا أدري من الآفة فيه. أخرجه ابن عساكر في أواخر "مناقب الشبان" له من طريقه قال: كنا في مجلس عبد الجبار أظنه ابن العلاء فجاء شيخ يطلب الحديث فدفع اليه كتابا ليقرأه فأمسك الكتاب وقال: يا شيخ تأخرت عنالطلب فخجل فقال: لا تستحي، حدثنا سفيان بن عُيَينة، عن عَمْرو بن دينار، عَن جَابر رفعه: من لم يطلب العلم صغيرا وطلبه كبيرا فمات على ذلك مات شهيدا.
