[المغني في الضعفاء (١/ ٨٨)]. • أحمد بن محمد بن حميد المقرئ الملقب بالفيل؛ لضخامته. قرأ على عمرو بن الصباح وغيره، وحدث عن يحيى بن هاشم السمسمار، وقرأ عليه. قال الدارقطني: ليس بالقوي. يروى عنه ابن مجاهد. [ميزان الاعتدال (١/ ١٥٥)]. • أحمد بن محمد بن حميد المقرئ الملقب بالفيل؛ لضخامته. قرأ على عَمْرو بن الصباح، وَغيره، وحدث عن يحيى بن هاشم السمسار وقرأ عليه. قال الدارقطني: ليس بالقوي. يروى عنه ابن مجاهد.
