٥٠٧ - أحمد بن إسماعيل بن أحمد بن محفوظ أبو الحسن البستي الواعظ • أحمد بن إسماعيل بن أحمد بن محفوظ البستي أبو الحسن الواعظ. ذكره أبو حسن بن بانويه في "تاريخ الري" وقال: كان متكلما على مذهب المعتزلة وكان أبوه في مصنفي المعتزلة على مذهبهم. سمع أحمد من أبي سعيد أحمد بن علي بن حمدان، وَأبي طالب يحيى بن الحسن بن هارون، وَغيرهما. روى عنه عبد الرحمن بن أحمد وأبو جعفر محمد بن الحسن الواعظ. توفي سنة إحدى وأربعين وأربع مِئَة.
