[١١٧٧] نشوان بن سعيد بن نشوان، أبو سعيد الحميري اليمني الأمير العلامة: كان فقيها فاضلا عارفا باللغة والنحو والتاريخ وسائر فنون الأدب، فصيحا بليغا شاعرا مجيدا، استولى على قلاع وحصون، وقدّمه أهل جبل صبر حتى صار ملكا. وله تصانيف أجلها شمس العلوم وشفاء كلام العرب من الكلوم في اللغة، وله القصيدة المشهورة التي أولها: الأمر جدّ وهو غير مزاح ... فاعمل لنفسك صالحا يا صاح مات في ذي الحجة سنة ثلاث وسبعين وخمسمائة.
