    [١١٤٣] محمود بن أبي المعالي تاج الدين الحواري اللغوي الأديب الشاعر: أخذ الأدب عن سعيد بن أبي الفضل الميداني، وبرع في اللغة، وله النثر الفائق والشعر الرائق وكان واحد نيسابور علما وفضلا وأدبا، وصنف كتاب «ضالة الأديب» في الجمع بين «الصحاح» و «التهذيب» أخذ فيه على الجوهري في عدة مواضع. كان حيا سنة ثمانين وخمسمائة.
