[١١٢١] محمد بن منصور بن جميل أبو عبد الله [ابن أبي] العز الكاتب: نحوي لغوي أديب من أفاضل العصر، قدم بغداد في صباه وقرأ الأدب ولازم مصدق بن شبيب النحوي حتى برع في النحو واللغة، وقرأ الفقه والفرائض والحساب، وقال الشعر ومدح الناصر فعرف واشتهر، ورتب كاتبا في ديوان التركات مدة، ثم ولي نظره، ثم ولي الصدرية بالمخزن، ثم عزل واعتقل وأفرج عنه بعد مدة ورتب وكيلا للأمير عدة الدين بن الناصر، وكان كاتبا بليغا مليح الخط غزير الفضل متواضعا مليح الصورة طيب الأخلاق، مات في شعبان سنة ست عشرة وستمائة.
