[١١١٥] محمد بن المرزبان أبو العباس الديمرتي «١» : كان فاضلا بليغا مؤرخا عالمابمجاري اللغة تصدر عنه الكتب «١» الكبار، وكان أحد التراجمة ينقل الكتب الفارسية الى العربية، له أكثر من خمسين منقولا من كتب الفرس، وله بضعة عشر كتابا في الأوصاف منها: وصف الفارس والفرس. ووصف السيف. ووصف القلم. وله الحاوي في علوم القرآن سبعة وعشرون جزءا. وكتاب الحماسة. وأخبار عبد الله بن جعفر بن أبي طالب، وغير ذلك. أخذ ابن المرزبان عن الزبير بن بكار والرمادي وروى عنه أبو عمرو ابن حيوة وجماعة، وتوفي سنة تسع وثلاثمائة.
