    عمر بن محمد النسفي الحافظ- ونسف هي نخشب بما وراء النهر-: كنيته أبو حفص، وصنف كتبا منها «كتاب القند في علماء سمرقند» ذكر فيه وقال: وموسى بن عبد الله الأغماتي قدم علينا سنة ست عشرة وخمسمائة، وهو شاب فاضل، وبقي عندي أياما وكتب عني الكثير، ولأجله جمعت كتابا سميته «عجالة النخشبيّ لضيفه المغربي» وفيه قلت:لقد طلع الشمس من غربها ... على خافقيها «١» وأوساطها فقلنا القيامة قد أقبلت ... وقد جاء أول أشراطها قال وأنشدني موسى الأغماتيّ لنفسه: لعمر الهوى إني وإن شطّت النوى ... لذو كبد حرّى وذو مدمع سكب فان كنت في أقصى خراسان نازحا ... فجسمي في شرق وقلبي في غرب [٨٧٠]
