[٧١٣] علي بن إبراهيم بن سعيد بن يوسف الحوفي: أصله من قرية تسمى شبرا اللنجة «٣» من حوف بلبيس من الديار المصرية «٤» أخذ عن أبي بكر محمد بن عليالأدفوي صاحب النحاس، وكان نحويا قارئا مات في مستهل ذي الحجة سنة ثلاثين وأربعمائة. وله من التصانيف: كتاب الموضح في النحو وهو كتاب كبير حسن. وكتاب البرهان في تفسير القرآن بلغني أنه في ثلاثين مجلدا «١» بخط دقيق.
