[٦٢٢] عامر بن عمران بن زياد أبو عكرمة الراوية الضبي السرمري من أهل سرّ من رأى: كان نحويا لغويا أخباريا حدث عن العتبي وأخذ عن ابن الأعرابي وإسحاق بن إبراهيم الموصلي وعنه القاسم بن محمد بن بشار الأنباري. وكان أعلم الناس بأشعار العرب وأرواهم لها، وكان في أخلاقه شراسة. وصنف كتاب الخيل. وكتاب الابل والغنم. مات سنة خمسين ومائتين.
