    ٨١٤ - [أبو المظفر الاسفراينى] شاهفور بن طاهر بن محمد الاسفراينى أبو المظفر الإمام الكامل الفقيه الاصولي المفسر، جامع بارع، صنف التفسير الكبير المشهور، وصنف فى الأصول، وسافر فى طلب العلم، وحصل الكثير. سمع عن أصحاب الأصم وأصحاب أبى على الرفا والطبقة وكان له اتصال مصاهرة بالاستاد أبى منصور البغدادي الإمام. توفى الإمام شاهفور بطوس سنة إحدى وسبعين وأربعمائة. روى [عنه] ابو الحسن الحافظ إجازة واذنا.
