سعد بن الحسن بن سليمان أبو محمد التوراني الحراني النحوي الأديبالشاعر: كان تاجرا يسافر إلى الشام والعراق ومصر وخراسان، وسكن ببغداد مدة وأخذ فيها عن أبي منصور موهوب الجواليقي وغيره، وكان عارفا بالنحو جيد النظم والنثر. مات سنة ثمانين وخمسمائة، ومن شعره: ولست كمن أخنى عليه زمانه ... فظلّ على أحداثه يتعتّب تلذّ له الشكوى وإن لم يجد بها ... شفاء كما يلتذّ بالحكّ أجرب وقال: جاءت تسائل عن ليلي فقلت لها ... وصورة الهمّ تمحو صورة [١] الجذل ليلي بكفّيك [٢] فاغني عن سؤالك لي ... إن بنت طال وإن واصلت لم يطل - ٥٢٣-
