الحسين بن محمد بن الحسين القمي الكاتب أبو عبد الله: والد الأستاذ أبي الفضل ابن العميد. ذكر أبو إسحاق الصابي أن رسائل العميد لا تقصر في البلاغة عن رسائل ابنه أبي الفضل، قال المؤلف [٢] : وعندي أن هذا الحكم من أبي اسحاق فيه حيف شديد على أبي الفضل، والقاصّ لا يحب القاص. وتقلد ديوان الرسائل لنوح بن نصر الساماني، ولقب بالشيخ العميد. - ٣٩٧-
